Why do Obama's supporters defend and protect him still so defensively ?

You put your finger on the problem in American politics. It's way too partisan. Politicians are applauded just because they belong to a party not the merits of their performance on the job. Bush won a second term with scare tactics while his spending spree was in the process of bankrupting this country. He never once raised a tax to pay for his spending. There was no way he should of won a second term. Anyway, you should pound on voters. It's their support of dumb candidates that keep kicking the can down the road allowing this country to wallow in mediocrity. Bush, now Obama. When will it end?
