I am irregular...and i have lotion like cm...could i be prego?

I had my period march 6 and again on apr 20....I was expexting my period today and I haven't gotten it....I have creamy and lotion kind c. Mucus and we have had intercourse with out protection...we r trying to concieve...can anyone tell me what this mucus is due to....I was told a woman should be dry wating on her period with no cervical mucu..
