How can you tell if a dress is too short?

If you have the dress right now, You can tel if its to short by sitting down and seeing if it rise's to high to your liking. I don't think the dress in the pic will be too short for you because its not to short on her and you 5 inches shorter so it may be a tad bit longer. If you want, buy the cheapest leggings/tights on there just in case.
