...thats part of the problem with high payroll teams, they have to load up on "has beens" or kids with unproven ability. This is what the Yankees are going to be like for the next 5 years, in 2013, they'll be "on the hook" for $154M for 8 players over 34 y/o, and in 2016, still another $70M for players over 35. Thats the price you pay when you win today. Even if they cut the players, they still owe the money.
